On doing the ‘Dad’ thing..

So I’m stood there being the ‘tickle’ monster, threatening the kids on the Trampoline.. probably about 5 of them. I thought “What on Earth am I doing? Three years ago kids used to terrify me!”

It’s funny how you stop caring what they think of you when you realise that they’re just innocent little humans, with all the cynicism, anger, suspicion and other negative emotions taken out. Well I say taken out, I should say ‘Yet to obtain’ as we all know the shit end of the stick comes eventually and we learn it’s not all about bouncing on trampolines and getting your face painted.

Shame… for all the hard work, sleepless nights and financial issues of bringing them up.. they’re actually pretty lush.
